Lee - Go Grey in May Day 12

Lee - Go Grey in May Day 12

Each day in conjunction with Go Grey for May, I’m sharing incredible stories of our community of Brain Cancer Warriors. Buy a T shirt, Beanie or wear an old grey t shirt to support the movement around Brain Cancer.

Lee Jimison

Diagnosed 9/2019 at age 61. Passed away 3/2021 from Glioblastoma Multiforme wild type, right frontal lobe... Married for 33 years, 2 children, 1 grandchild. Lee was the love of my life! We shared 33 wonderful years together. We went on the trip of a lifetime in July 2019, and he was diagnosed Sept 3, 2019 after showing almost no symptoms. He endured 3 brain surgeries, one brain hemorrhage, Optune, radiation, chemo, as well as changes to diet and supplants. We through everything at the disease! He loved helping others and the hardest thing was when he could no longer build or fix things. He loved to MTB and was in great shape other than the GBM. He kept up hope til the end. I am finding more and more people around me with GBM and hope that they will some day find a cure!
